Twist Set

I used my shea mix and curling custard. I cowashed this morning and wore a faux hawk for the day using Taliah Waajid The Great Detangler that I purchased the other day. Wet my hair in the shower tonight and started twisting.

So clearly, I like change...

I did another protective style :-/
I started with intentiond of revamping the preceeding one, but decided to do a different one altogether. Flat twisted the front, chunky twists in the back. Depending on how I feel tomorrow I MAY take them out. I am definitely twisting the ends of the flat twists into a crown. I'll update with what I decided! Self Inspiration

I *LIVE* for this twist! This is the exact reason why I chopped back in October. I am in LOVE with my hair. The transition wasn't for me for long. I may get frustrated with my hair, and as OFTEN as that may be; I have NO regrets. "I love my haaaaaaaair!" =}

Style

Decided to give my fro a break and do a style. Flat twists going around the back with a poofy at the top. Might two strand/rope twist it.
Mommy says I look like Janelle Monae haha =}

Multiple Pinapple Method

A few months back I spotted this on CurlyNikki. A reader submitted her multiple pineappling method for those of us with shorter locks. I instantly fell in love with the idea, but wasn't able to do it.
Now that I am 6 months in, I am able to gather enough hair to make this work for me. I have one at the crown, two in the back, and two in the front for a total of 5 mini pineapples. Don't forget to be gentle with your edges ladies/gents! =}
